In honor of the Oregon's 150th Birthday, we've decided to rename our dog, Zeus. Henceforth, or until we get tired of it, we're going to call him Zebulon Montgomery after the famous/infamous explorer. He was a pal of Aaron Burr's. If you haven't read Fallen Founder: The Life of Aaron Burr, you should go and get a copy. Especially if you like stuff on the founding fathers. Lots of fabulous characters that were new to me. And lots of strong, well educated women!
So, hopefully Zeus will be happy with his new name and perhaps we'll rename the other animals too. Anything is possible during the Sesquicentennial!
